There are taxis and Uber services available from the airport to the venue as well as a train and bus service. The airport is approximately 8 kilometres from the International Convention Centre Sydney.
The Sofitel Sydney Wentworth has parking located behind the hotel on Bligh Street, operated by Wilson's Parking. Find more information on parking rates here.

The Registration and Information Desk will be located in the Foyer on Level 4 of the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth on Thursday, 17 September. Then on Friday, 18 September and Saturday, 19 September, the Registration and Information Desk will be located in the Foyer on Level 3 of the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth.
It will be open the following hours for name badge collection (required for all sessions, exhibition, and activities):

Arrival Tea and CoffeeThe speaker preparation room is located in the Canberra Room on Level 3 of the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth. Presenters must submit their presentation at least one hour before their session.
Abstracts can be viewed in the Conference app by clicking on 'handouts' within the program session.
The cloakroom is located on Level 3 of the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, next to the Perth Room, and will be staffed for 45 mins on arrival and 45 mins on departure, on Friday and Saturday. If you would like to collect your belongings during the Conference when the cloakroom is unstaffed, please ask a Sofitel staff member for assistance.
All registered delegates will receive an email from the Conference Office detailing how to access the app which will assist with your Conference experience. The Conference app will provide the latest information about the Conference scientific program, social events, sponsors and exhibitors and enables you to connect with colleagues.
Attending The Fine Edge of Dentistry Conference allows you to claim CPD hours for the scientific program, which totals 10.5 hours across both days. To claim these hours, please ensure your QR code is scanned daily by the Conference Organisers.
Following the Conference, a certificate of attendance will be emailed to all delegates.
Should you have attended masterclasses/workshops, a certificate will be issued separately.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be served in the exhibition on Friday and Saturday*, allowing you the chance to enjoy refreshments, meet with exhibitors and view the posters.
On Thursday, for those pre-registered for the Masterclasses and Workshops, catering will be served outside the Adelaide Room on Level 4 of the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth.
The menu selections from the buffet station are inclusive of vegetarian and gluten free options. A dedicated dietary buffet will cater for those who have advised us in advance of dietary requirements other than these.
Every effort will be made to accommodate all special dietary requirements and/or other needs, however, advance notification is required. Please contact the Conference Office by email to racds@wsm.com.au if you did not provide this information at the time of registering. If you have provided this to the Conference Office, this will be outlined in your registration pre-arrival email.
*Afternoon tea served on Friday only
To assist with networking, a delegate list (excluding privacy requests) will be available in the Conference app.
The dress code for the Conference is smart casual. The weather in Sydney in September ranges from an average low of 12°C to an average high of 20°C.
If there is an emergency at the venue, please stay calm. Please follow the instructions given by the venue staff who are fully trained for an emergency situation.
The emergency phone number in Australia is 000. The dispatcher will then put you through to Police, Ambulance or the Fire Brigade.
The exhibition will be on Level 3 of the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth.
All catering on Friday and Saturday will be served in the exhibition, allowing you time to enjoy refreshments whilst meeting with our valued exhibitors. The posters will also be on display in this space.

Delegates are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Delegate registration fees do not provide any such coverage. FED 2026 and the Conference Office accept no responsibility for any loss in this regard.
There is a dedicated wifi network for you to use throughout the Conference. The wifi details will be printed on the reverse side of your name badge.
Please report all lost or found property immediately to staff onsite at the information desk.
Throughout the Conference, photography will be taking place. The photographs may be used to promote the Conference, both within Australia and internationally, across all print and digital platforms.
If you do not wish to appear in any images captured, please inform us so we can take the appropriate steps and where possible please move out of camera range.
Posters are on display in the exhibition on Friday and Saturday. Over the catering breaks, the authors will be by their work to share their ideas with fellow delegates.
For those presenting a poster onsite at the Conference, poster installation and
dismantle times are as follows:
Poster Installation: Friday, 18 September between 7:30AM - 10:30AM
Poster Dismantle: Saturday, 19 September between 2:00PM - 3:30PM
Please ensure you poster is packed down by 3:30PM on Saturday. Any posters remaining
after this time will be discarded.
Setup and removal of your poster is your responsibility.

Pre-Conference Masterclasses/Workshops
The pre-Conference Masterclasses and Workshops are being held on Thursday, 17 September at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth. Check your registration pre-arrival letter to confirm if you have booked for these. Advance bookings are necessary so please contact us if you would like to book, or let us know if you no longer wish to attend one that you have registered for.
